Summer School 2026

ABOUT THIS SUMMER SCHOOL

For our 10th anniversary edition, we are bringing the Summer School to Brussels. A city and region where all policy levels come together: a real melting pot of local, regional and federal politics, but also of diplomacy, EU and defense policies.

Over three days, you'll gain insights from key political figures and economic leaders such as:

• MEP & Party leader of Les Engagés, Yvan Verougstraete
• Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, David Clarinval
• Brussels Member of the Parliament - Senator, Benjamin Dalle
• Brussels Minister of Economy and Employment, Laurent Hublet
• Brussels State Secretary for Urban Planning, Audrey Henry
• Mayor of the City of Brussels, Philippe Close

We dig into every layer: Brussel as a city, a region, the home base for crucial international bodies.

Expect lively debates featuring:

• CEO of the Brussels Chamber of Commerce, Thierry Geerts
• Defence Policy Director, Alexander Mattelaer
• Ambassador Coordinator for the EU Defence Industry, Cathy Buggenhout
• Director General European Affairs, Christophe De Nijs
• Deputy Chief of Staff for Institutional Affairs in Brussels, Charline Desmecht

Beyond the engaging discussions, there's ample opportunity to network, relax, and experience Brussels at its finest.
