Dear Bepact member,
We have the pleasure to invite you the next Bepact Political Café with not one but two speakers. Hannes Anaf and Melissa Depraetere (both Vooruit) are two new faces in parliament but both immediate in important roles.
This event will take place on the 9th of November at 17:30 in Brasserie de la Presse, Koningsstraat 100, Rue Royale in Brussels.
Melissa Depraetere is member of the federal parliament and became in 2020 group leader of Vooruit. She is a political scientist and worked in the parliament as assistant to Alain Top and specialised in military matters.
Hannes Anaf is member of the Flemish parliament, he was briefly group leader of Vooruit and is the president of the PFOS investigating commission. Hannes has experience at the cabinets of a Flemish Minister and of a "gedeputeerde" of the province of Antwerp, he was active in the Flemish administration and alderman in Turnhout.
At the Bepact Political Café both speakers will elaborate on their experience as newcomers in parliament with immediate very visual positions. And how they see their different functions with Vooruit in the Federal Government and in opposition in Flanders.
