Thomas Dermine does not need a full introduction anymore as a visible member of the Federal government. After an academic career at Harvard, a consultancy career at McKinsey, he became the Director of the Institut Emile Vandervelde (IEV). He joined De Croo 1 in October 2020 and was charged with the coordination of the Belgian Recovery Plan.
In this BEPACT live, the State Secretary will elaborate on how the first months of the Recovery Plan in action are going and in which areas there is still room for expertise or insight. How this plan increases the attractivity of Belgium. And how the Federal government is going to find extra revenue or savings to reach the annual investment target of 4% of the GDP.
There will be room for Q&A too.
