BEPACT Summer School has been postponed !!

We are sad to inform you that the Board of Directors of Bepact has decided to postpone the BEPACT Summer School to a later date (still to be decided) due to the continued critical COVID-19 situation in our country. The Summer School was set to be organized next week (August 26th and 27th 2020) in Ghent. We want to postpone the event in its entirety to next year. All registration fees that have already been paid, will be reimbursed.

We are happy to invite you to the 6^th edition of the Bepact Summer Schoolwhich will take place in the marvelous city of Ghent, on the August 26th and 27th (Wednesday and Thursday).
We have gathered an extraordinary panel of guest speakers from the political world, academia, business and media who will share their insights in current politics, fake news, the promotion of Flanders to foreign investors, and the importance of the local level for politicians and for public affairs.

As education and networking are two of the cornerstones of our association, we will organize the event in a live setting, and not virtually.
Obviously, we will take the necessary precautions in order to respect the social distancing between the participants and the speakers.
Hence, in line with the current recommendations of the Belgian federal government, we have to limit the number of participants to 50.
Tickets will be attributed on a first come first served basis.


This is a Bepact Members Only event with a registration fee of 395€ (htva)for the two days program.


An overnight stay is recommended at Pillows Grand Hotel Reylof, Hoogstraat 36, 9000 Ghent and can be booked through Bepact at preferential rate of 150€.
As the rooms are limited, please confirm asap by email if you would like to stay overnight at the hotel.

Please be advised that this program and the precautions have been made taking into account the rules currently set by the authorities. It is not excluded that these may change in the event of an evolution of the COVID-19 situation over Summer. In that case we will inform you ASAP of potential changes to the program, and we already thank you for your comprehension.

• You can cancel your participation free of charge before August 12th, 8.00 AM.
• If you cancel your participation between August 12th and August 24th 8.00 AM, a 75 EUR cancellation fee is applicable.
• After August 24th 8.00 AM, and in case of a no-show, the full registration fee is due
• In case the event is cancelled by the organizers, the registration fee will be reimbursed by the end of October at the latest.
