The Idea Factory of Politics

A look behind the scenes of the political study centers

Bepact would be pleased to welcome you early July 2016.

Political parties are supported and constantly being fed content and insights by their own study center. These study centers are the so called “think tanks” that, on the basis of the ideology and societal priorities of the party they represent, conduct analyses, do studies and develop arguments to support the party’s opinions.

Contrary to the party representatives, the employees of these study centers usually work behind the scenes. This does not mean, however, that they have little influence. In fact, the insights they give to their political party determine to a great extent the political debate.

But, how do these study centers operate? Where do they find the information and inspiration for their studies, reports and analyses? And are they open to input and arguments coming from companies and interest groups?
